The Guildford Refectory is situated next to Guildford Cathedral, overlooking the town and the Surrey Hills.  The restaurant has a capacity of 230 and is ideal for any situation, from meeting a friend for lunch, through to hosting a lavish wedding, the Refectory’s versatility allows it to adapt seamlessly.

Monday to Saturday 9am-4:30pm
Sunday 9:30am-12:30pm (closed the 2^nd Sunday of every month)

The Refectory is Guildford’s hidden treasure! Whether you are coming along to nibble, feast or fine dine, we will cater for your every need. All our food is freshly made in The Refectory kitchens every day! Including the most stunning homemade cakes, from mouth watering white chocolate and raspberry to classic coffee and walnut; all served with teas and coffee from local roastery ‘Coffee Real’ in Reigate. Our lunches are truly special, with hot daily specials prepared by our chefs using the finest local producers and the freshest vegetables; and then finish off with a sensational afternoon tea!

Private Hire

The Refectory can seat 200 guests, and is a perfect venue for bespoke theming.  It has a fully equipped bar with a full license and ample parking which makes it a favourite for those who are looking to host a private party in the Guildford area and beyond.
